Get ready for some cycling and adventure this Hornbill Festival 2012. Hornbill Cycle Rally “Ride to Recharge” – Recycle is a cycling event organized by Alaphra Group to promote tourism, adventure sports, and cycling. This is a second cycling series by Alaphra Tourism this year; the first one being held during the World Tourism Day 2012 in September.
Hornbill Cycle Rally “Ride to Recharge” – Recycle will be held on 2nd December, 2012 and will cover a distance of 86 km from Kisama Naga Heritage Village, the main venue of the Hornbill Festival, to Dimapur. The participants will camp at Kigwema on 1st December which is a beautiful locale at a few kilometers away from the Naga Heritage Village. The ride will commence the next morning at 8 am from Kisama Heritage Village. Bikes, safety cars, and support will be provided throughout the route.
